Mothers Day 2008

This year for Mothers Day Mike's Grandmother and sisters came over from Deer Lodge, MT, and Seattle. This was a great day being able to see everyone and all the nieces and nephews that we don't get to see often enough. We spent some time up at Mikes mom's house in Elk where she cooked a feast and I ate like I always manage to do when we are up there. Sherry puts on a spread like no one else and I swear I leave there 10 lbs heavier, but I love it!

The kids all have a blast getting together and playing. There Was Tami and her Husband Erik, and their kids Dakota, Madison and Jack. Then there was Becky and her husband Scott and kids, Olivia and Braden.

My sisters-n-laws are fabulous parents and women, and I love getting together with them and just gabbing. Miss you guys! And Tam I would have more pictures of you...but either you turned stealth on me and I could never find you, or I just suck?

After we left Sherry's Mike had made plans for our family to go out to Coeur d' Alene to spend the night at the Lake Coeur d'Alene Resort. What a treat. We had a blast! We went down and had some dessert, then went back to our room where we all donned our robes and preceded to do our fashion poses. We laughed so hard that I almost pee'd my pants! One thing about Mike is that he can always make a fun time for us.

The girls were being so sweet, they even let me get a picture without any whining!

The next day we went swimming, and had some pizza for lunch. Then Mike took the girls home and I had a date with my Cervelo. I rode one loop of the Ironman course then headed home. This is my longest ride to date. It was raining and windy so it was kicking my butt. I made 89 miles before I called Mike and had him come and rescue me. I only had 6 miles to go but my legs had had enough. My knight in shinning armor saved his damsel once again. I am so lucky that he puts up with all my crazy wild hairs and still manages to support me along the way.
